HAS THE PROPERTY BEEN SOLD?

The Property was owned by the City of Savannah.  It was sold through a questionable process to the Savation Army.  The Weeping Time Coalition is asking in court that the State Historic Preservation Office review the study that they should have BY LAW sent to them
The site in question is land adjacent to the sale property. It was the entrance to the race track and the parking lot equivalent area.  And therefore the land in question is associated with the Weeping Time Event.  The case is in court.
QUESTION: HOW IMMINENT IS THE BUILDING PROJECT?
 We don't know.  We have filed in local courts and are proceeding with all delibertate haste
WHY IS THE HISTORICAL MARKER PLACE FAR FROM THE PROPERTY.We believe it was on purpose because the further away from the property , the less likely the property would be preserved.

WAS THERE AN ARCHEOLOGICAL DIG?
There is no purpose for an Archeological dig because the people were only on site for a week. 

HAVE YOU SOUGHT FEDERAL PROTECTION?
Yes, we are in the process of seeking federal protection for both the property and the district
HOW CAN WE HELP?We need as many historians and public policy experts to sign off on our petition.   We need your help in locating these individuals

WHEN IS THE HEARING WITH THE COUNTY COMMISSION?
The Chatham County Commission Chairman decided not to allow us to speak at commission meetings.
